Let us know in your email what your looking for, example:  lessons, high school preparation, summer diving, competitive year-round training.  Also, how many days/week are you interested in diving.

Step 1

Contact us via email and let us know your interests.  Tell us about your diving background (beginner, novice, intermediate, advanced) and any other sports...especially related sports such as gymnastics, tumbling, trampoline, etc.  Tell us what you are looking for in the sport of diving...competitive, recreational, seasonal, trouble-shoot, brush-up, etc.  At this point, you should poke around our website and familiarize yourself with the structure of San Diego State Divers, the scheduling options/times and our fees.  We will discuss with you the availability of our various levels and classes.

Step 4 - Fees

Quite simply, a check payable to SDSD for the session tuition should be included with the forms.  The fee structure can be found on the Fees Page of this website.  We will outline the associated club tuition fees via email through this registration process once we have agreed on the level, number of training days per week and weekly schedule. All club fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the first practice each session.  

Please note, SDSD does not offer refunds or credits for any reason. Make-up practices are addressed at the end of each session via "Bonus Practice."

Step 3 - AAU Membership

Membership with AAU is required as our form of insurance for the divers, coaches and San Diego State Divers.  It is an easy online process...

You will first need to create an account with AAU.  Once you do this you will then follow through with the member registration. You should select the AB (Added Benefit) membership and then register as a DIVER...be sure to use our club code for San Diego State Divers: WWDCWC


To complete the registration process you will pay the $16 fee which should be good through August 31.  At this point you will be sent an email confirmation and have the ability to print a copy of your membership card.  Print two copies of your membership card and send one copy to us while retaining the second copy for yourself.  You should bring your membership card with you when we attend AAU meets.  Also, forward us the email confirmation from AAU. Our district is:  Southern Pacific

Step 5 - Go to Practice!

Once all the forms and fees have been received, you're ready to get started in the water.  Please be on time for the start of practice.

 

Step 2 - Forms

Download our New SDSD Information Form in pdf format.  Complete the form, save with your childs name and attach to an email back to us.  We will create a record with your divers information...merge the data into our Medical Release Form and Registration Form.  These forms will be sent to you via email where you will review for accuracy...print, sign/initial and return to us via USPS at the address below.   Download the Facility Use Form and complete/print...it should be hand delivered to the Aquaplex upon first practice.
